Educational Criteria

Exam Schedule
The UPSC Civil Services Exam is conducted annually in three stages: Preliminary Exam (Objective), Main Exam (Written), and Interview. The entire process generally takes one year from the release of the notification to the final result.
Forest Service Examination
The Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Examination is conducted separately but alongside the Civil Services Preliminary Exam. It has its own set of eligibility criteria and is one of the most prestigious government services aimed at managing the country’s natural resources.
